New research: Best Breakfast for Fat Loss!

crapGB Inspiration- Keep Expecting.  God has great things for you.  He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you.  He wants HIS Best for you, and He knows you can and you will, thru HIM!  Nothing is bigger than Him in you.  You have all His Love, Grace, Power, and Faith inside of you through Jesus Christ.  “Nuff Said”!

GB Nutrition- Try a “High Protein” breakfast.  Some research has come out showing a breakfast high in protein can help to accelerate fat loss.  This is really nothing new, but there are more specifics being known.  I recommend trying it for 3 weeks: Whey Protein Concentrate/Isolate mixed in cold water.  Of course find a brand that you like the taste.  I recommend anywhere from 25-5o grms protein per breakfast.  This may be a lot less than you normally eat for breakfast and you may think you will be too hungry, but try it anyway for 3 weeks and see how it goes.

GB Exercise- GB DW for 10+ min walk 1 min, Run 1 min.  Each round you can increase how fast you run

GB Nutrition– Eating “better” in order to lose weight is usually temporary.  Instead choose to Eat “better” with the intent to gain control of your life in that area.  This is a more sure Mindset and approach that can render more true lifestyle changes.

dinner4GB Inspiration- One of the greatest Truths for you to focus on is that “every bit of Faith you need to accomplish your goals in your health in life is already in you, thru Christ”!!

GB Nutrition- CONTROL.  Control is one of the main, if not the main issue, with Food.  Who is in control, you or food?  No matter what your current condition is with Food, be determined to not let it control you!!

GB Exercise- 5, 10, 15, 10, 5 of Squats, Pushups, Situps.  Do 5 of each exercise, then 10 of each, and so on until you complete all.

wout82GB Inspiration– Sit back for a minute or two and just Be Thankful.  Think about how much HE loves you, and how HE is absolutely and completely in Love with you.  He totally wants you to be successful in this life.  He knows what is best for you and He only has HIS best for you.  Bam!! There we go

GB Nutrition– Keep it simple: Eat lots of whole fruits and vegetables; Limit your grains; drink mostly or only water; Eat some good quality meat/fish; Purposely get some good FATS in; Control your portions; stay out of condemnation; Use food as a tool to take control of your health.

GB DW– 11 x squats, pushups, wlunge.  Max Rds in 4 minutes of: 100 JRope, 25 Situps


How to more effectively make New Habits

wout27GB Inspiration– “It is the Goodness of God that brings men (us) to repentance.” Rom 2:4.  Repentance in this case basically means to “change the way you think”.  So as you focus more on His Love, His Goodness, it will cause you to see and think differently.  It is not by “trying to not do bad”, and “trying to make yourself do good” that you actually end up with new and good habits.  It is first and foremost by realizing how good HE is and how much HE Loves you, that causes you to change the way you think, therefore leading you to new and better habits.

GB Nutrition– If you will do only 1-2 of the things (nutritionally speaking) you already believe you should be doing, you can change your health in a big way.

GB DW (daily workout)-  Movement Stretches x 7.  Max DB Swings in 4 minutes

wout57GB Inspiration– You, and me, we have to remind ourselves daily WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST.  Basically we can not base our belief of who we are and what we can accomplish in this life on our past experiences, our feelings, and or any circumstances.  We can only base our belief on what HIS Word tells us, The Truth.

GB Nutrition– You can make a “Better” Choice anywhere you are at.  This is what we tell our clients all the time.

GB Inspire/Motivate-  Opportunity is available to all of us.  First we have to believe this, and Expect it.  When we expect it, we start looking for it!  And that is a big key to being able to see it when it does come.

GB Nutrition– Eat MORE = Lose Weight!!  Yep I know this is still so foreign to most, but it is true in many cases.  In my 20 years of Health & Life Coaching, I have seen this happen a whole lot.  When I have clients eat “cleaner” and up their intake, they usually lose weight.

GB Exercise– For 4,6, or 8 minutes: 1,2,3,4,5….. of Squats, Pushups, Situps.  *Do 1 rep of each, then 2 reps of each, and so on going up in rep count each round.

God-Built, The state of our company.

gbvisionGod-Built Vision– Going into all the world teaching people who they are In Christ, through fitness.

The above “vision” statement is the exact statement, word for word, that God gave me many years back when I was asking HIM to make clear to me, in words, what our vision at God-Built was.  This vision is the same vision we have today at God-Built.  We have made and are making some changes, but the Vision remains the same.

We are excited and thankful for all that God has allowed us to be a part of for all our years of past operation, mostly for the lives we have been able to be a part of.  And going forward we are excited about all the HE has for us, and the lives that we believe HE will allow us to be a part of.

For me, I simply want to do what HE wants me to do.  I want and expect to go in HIS direction.  I know that will be what is best for God-Built as a company, for me personally, and for my family.  **I am saying all this because you are a part of Team God-Built, and it is important to me to let you know the state of our company, any changes we are making, and our plans for the future.  So here it is to sum it up:

State of God-Built– we are great!  I am seeking HIS direction and know that HE is sustaining us, leading us, and using us during this time of transition.

Changes we are making– We have cut out all of our group workouts on site here at God-Built.  We continue to coach group workouts at our corporate partners’ health centers.

We continue to offer our Personal Training and Sports Performance coaching here on site.

We are currently looking for Renters for our space here on Tom Reeves Dr.  *We have 15,000 sq ft that we can rent part or all, and still continue to offer our services.

Plans for the Future

I believe God is pointing us in the direction to do more Health & Life coaching on site for Corporations / Companies.  Basically we go into companies and teach employees how to take control of their health and life, using the basic, and most effecttive spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical principles.  Our goal will be to motivate and inspire change from employees.

We are looking to do this on a local level, and to expand outside of our area.  I believe God has shown me that we can positively impact more people’s lives through this program.

We can go into any size company, doctor’s office, small business, publicly owned company, etc. and effectively inspire people to make positive changes in their lives.  We believe we can do this because He has annointed us and called us to do so.

We also plan on expanding our internet / website program.  I know i have talked about this many times over the years, and it is time to make progress in this area, so we are.  Again doing this will help us to be more effecient in reaching & helping more people.

I hope that I have helped to give you a clearer picture of God-Built, where we are at, and where we are going.  I am excited about the present and the future.  God is moving and shaking some things for us, and we simply want and expect HIS Will to be done for us and through us.  Thank you so much for your support over the years, and thank you for your prayers as we all strive to make positive Impact in the world, through Christ Jesus!
